Brett Moulton, Lake Luzerne Dog Control Officer

(518) 232-2968

All dogs must be licensed by the age of 4 months and annually thereafter.

A renewal notice will be sent one month in advance of the due date.

If your dog is sprayed/neutered, the cost of licensing (in this office) is $7.00.

For unsprayed or un-neutered dogs, the fee is $15.00.

Please bring proof of rabies and the spray/neuter certificate.

If your dog is picked up for running at large, the Town of Lake Luzerne Dog Control
Officer will transport the dog to Barks and Rec in Queesnbury NY ((518) 793-8055) UNLESS, once it is established that your dog is at Barks and Rec, you would then
have to come to the Town Clerk’s office as there will be a pick up fee, boarding fee, and, if your dog is not licensed, a license fee ALL of which would have to be paid before your dog can be release back to your custody. This must all be done prior to retrieving
your dog.
